Style bleed
A style applies unevenly — leaking into regions it should not touch, or resolving differently in adjacent shots that were supposed to match.

The look is nominally the same throughout. Sample any two moments and they disagree about what the style is.
- 01Style conditioning applied globally, so it affects regions that should have been left alone — skin, text, product detail.
- 02Each segment conditioned independently, resolving to a different point on the same style manifold. Every shot is correct; the sequence is not.
- 03Style weight high enough to override content, so the look starts rewriting what is actually in frame.
- 04Prompt terms that describe style and subject in competition, letting the sampler decide which wins.

How to confirm it
Pull stills from several points in the sequence and put them side by side out of order. If you cannot tell they came from one style, that is bleed.
The out-of-order part matters. Viewed in sequence, gradual variation reads as intentional — the eye forgives a slow shift. Shuffled, the inconsistency is immediate.
The distinction worth keeping
Style bleed and temporal flicker are often lumped together as “inconsistency”, but they have different mechanisms and different fixes.
Flicker is high-frequency — instability between adjacent frames. Bleed is low-frequency — variation across a sequence or between shots. A fix aimed at one will usually do nothing for the other, which is why “make it more consistent” is not an actionable note and diagnosing which of the two you have is the first useful step.
